CELONEX is a Sri Lankan advanced materials and speciality chemicals company with more than four decades of industry experience. We operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Hayleys Aventura (Pvt) Ltd., which represents the Industry Inputs sector of Hayleys PLC. Since beginning our journey in 1981 as Sri Lanka’s first textile pigment manufacturing plant, we have evolved into a future-focused business serving a broad range of industrial applications.
Today, we develop and manufacture speciality pigments, latex and rubber chemical dispersions, nanomaterials, construction chemicals and sustainable solutions. Our products support the textile, latex and rubber glove, coir and fibre, industrial manufacturing and construction sectors, helping customers enhance performance, efficiency and sustainability.
Our international presence continues to expand across key Asian markets. As Sri Lanka’s leading pigment emulsion exporter, we serve customers in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand, building on more than 20 years of market leadership in Bangladesh
We continue to advance our capabilities through sustained investment in materials science, innovation and next-generation production technologies. In 2022, we established South Asia’s first Single-Wall Carbon Nanotube (SWCNT) processing plant and commercialised the world’s first SWCNT-based glove, extending our expertise beyond colour solutions into advanced material applications.
